Wenzhou-Kean University promotes cultural exchanges

Wenzhou-Kean University, celebrating its 10th anniversary, hosted the China-US Cultural and People-to-people Exchanges Seminar on April 26.

Representatives from Wenzhou-Kean University and Kean University in the United States convened to discuss deepening cooperation and strengthening youth exchanges.

The event was featured both a retrospective of Wenzhou-Kean University's past cultural achievements and a forward-looking vision for collaborative education.

As one of China’s three Sino-US cooperative universities, Wenzhou-Kean University has thrived since its establishment in March 2014. With 4,500 students, it is major institute of higher education in Zhejiang province.

The event launched the China-US cultural exchange project. To realize the Five-Year Plan for China-US Youth Exchange, Wenzhou-Kean University and Kean University will facilitate diverse interactions, including customized courses, internships, cultural exploration, and community service. Wenzhou-Kean University's English-language teaching environment and fusion of Eastern and Western academic traditions offer students from the US immersive learning experiences and insights into China.

Additionally, Wenzhou-Kean University held the China-US Entrepreneur Roundtable to strengthen ties with industry leaders. Collaborating with eight renowned companies, Wenzhou-Kean University aims to integrate academia and industry, fostering research collaboration and supporting innovative productivity.
