Wenzhou held a themed activity titled "Our Festivals - Dragon Boat Festival" on May 22 to celebrate the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which will fall on June 10 this year and honor traditional Chinese culture.
The festivities commenced with traditional dragon and lion dances, captivating the audience with their splendor. The event also featured a dragon boat culture market, offering a vibrant and interactive experience that beautifully illustrated the essence of the traditional festival.
The festival's highlight was the dragon boat parade, with 30 teams from areas like Lucheng, Longwan, and Ouhai showcasing their boats' artistic designs along the river.
Wenzhou's commitment to cultural enrichment was evident in the interactive areas where locals engaged in traditional crafts and in the display of intangible cultural heritage items.
