Travelers from Wenzhou to Macao are rejoicing as Air Macao has announced the resumption of direct flights starting July 12, with services scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
This eagerly awaited move promises to slash air travel time and boost both economic and cultural ties between the two regions.
The flights are conveniently timed, with the outbound journey from Wenzhou taking off at 3:55 pm and touching down in Macao at 5:50 pm. The return leg departs Macao at 1:05 pm, arriving back in Wenzhou by 2:50 pm, all within a comfortable two-hour window.
In anticipation of the summer rush, promotional offers for July are enticing travelers with one-way tickets starting at 694 yuan ($95.64) and round trips at 1,275 yuan, inclusive of taxes. Passengers also benefit from a 25-kilogram free luggage allowance.
Air Macao is also rolling out multi-stop itineraries and flight plus hotel packages tailored for independent travelers, ensuring a hassle-free journey with just one piece of identification.
Moreover, the airline provides seamless connections through Macao to a host of popular destinations across Asia, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang, Da Nang, Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Seoul, Hanoi, and Osaka.
