Xu Jiayu wins silver in men's 100m backstroke at Paris Olympics

In the early hours of July 30, Beijing time, Xu Jiayu from Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, secured a silver medal with a time of 52.32 seconds in the men's 100m backstroke final, which was the first medal for his city at the Paris Olympics.

This marks Xu's third Olympic silver medal, following his successes at the Rio and Tokyo Olympics.

As a seasoned four-time Olympian, Xu continues to showcase his exceptional talent and dedication. He will also compete in the men's 200m backstroke, the mixed 4x100m medley relay, and the men's 4x100m medley relay in the Paris Olympics.
