The 10th Museum and Related Products and Technologies Expo (MPT Expo) began on Aug 23 at the Chilechuan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hohhot.

This four-day event features 552 museums and related enterprises, showcasing the latest in museum technology and products. The Wenzhou Museum, along with the Ruian Museum, Cangnan Museum, and other local institutions, is participating to highlight Wenzhou's charm.

The Wenzhou Museum, a national first-class museum, is renowned for its extensive collection of precious artifacts and has received numerous accolades.

At the expo, the Wenzhou Museum is showcasing a series of cultural and creative products, including a bell-shaped luggage tag inspired by a Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) bronze mirror. Other products include items derived from special exhibitions and educational activities, like mouse pads and washi tapes featuring the calligraphy and artwork of Master Hong Yi.

The Ruian Museum, meanwhile, is presenting canvas bags inspired by its collection of paintings and calligraphy, reflecting the rich history of art in the city. The museum also offers DIY badge kits, allowing participants to create personalized souvenirs while learning about Ruian's cultural heritage.

The Cangnan Museum's showcases include canvas bags, thermos cups, metal bookmarks, and umbrellas, all featuring traditional Chinese paintings and modern creative designs.

The Ou Yi Cultural Museum is displaying Ou kiln tea sets and porcelain-based scented candles. Wenzhou Mu Zhu Wood Carving woks include lifelike sculptures of animals like Shiba Inu, pandas, and rabbits.

The MPT Expo is China's largest and most influential museum industry event and one of the top three museum exhibitions globally.
