The fifth batch of national level II museums was announced at the 10th Museum and Related Products and Technologies Expo in Hohhot. The batch includes the Ouhai Museum and the Cangnan Museum.

The Ouhai Museum is a comprehensive institution that combines cultural relic collection, scientific research, social education, and cultural leisure. It features multiple exhibition halls, including the Zeya Traditional Papermaking Exhibition Hall and the Wenzhou Dragon Boat Culture Museum.

The museum leverages its collections and research to promote social education and cultural heritage. It organizes a diverse array of educational activities every year, especially for youth. One such activity is the Oudi Cultural Night, which extends learning into nature, allowing children to explore historical sites and learn about ancient Chinese civilization.
