Academician joins morning run in Wenzhou

During a break at the Wenzhou International Rehabilitation Conference, Li Jian'an, a foreign academician of the National Academy of Medicine, joined a group of marathon enthusiasts at the Sanyang Wetlands in Ouhai district, Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, on Sept 27.

This event highlighted healthcare workers' commitment to active lifestyles and social responsibility as part of the principle of "people and life come first".

The atmosphere was charged with a shared passion and commitment to healthy lifestyles as Li ran alongside the Rehabilitation Running Group members and runners from the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Wenzhou Medical University. From the start, one could see Li's experience as one who ran seven marathons every day for a week.

Following the run, Li shared his extensive expertise in sports health with students and faculty at Wenzhou Medical University, further strengthening the bond of its shared commitment to exercise and health.

The Wenzhou International Rehabilitation Conference held in Taishun county from Sept 27 to 28, touches on various fields, including smart rehabilitation, educational rehabilitation, rehabilitation research and development, hot spring rehabilitation, rehabilitation therapy, and neurological rehabilitation.
