Located in southern Zhejiang province in East China, Taishun county – administered by Wenzhou city – borders Fujian province.
With its subtropical maritime monsoon climate, Cangnan is warm in winter and cool in summer.
Longgang was established as a town in October 1983 and was upgraded into a county-level city in August 2019 with the approval of the State Council.
