Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province will offer more than 3,000 jobs to talent from across the globe, according to an announcement by the city's human resources bureau on Feb 7.
According to the authorities, Zhoushan plans to recruit more than 190 young doctors who major in fields like green petrochemical and new material, modern marine fishing, shipbuilding and marine engineering as well as marine electronic information.
The city will also open up more than 660 job positions in areas such as oil and gas storage and transportation, energy trade settlement, and marine services to bolster the development of the Zhoushan area of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
In addition, Zhoushan will offer over 2,200 positions related to fields such as machine manufacturing, ship building and maintenance, and biomedicine to develop its real economy.
Authorities have also rolled out a series of favorable policies, including housing subsidies and temperate apartments, as well as services in terms of household registration and children's education, said a local official.
