As the fishing moratorium in the East China Sea was partially lifted on Aug 6 and the first catches of swimming crabs were sold in the market, diners in Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province are eager to enjoy the seasonal seafood.
The sidewalk snack booth at the city's Shenjiamen Fishing Port is a popular destination to savor the delicacies.
Zhou Penghong, a booth owner at the food street, said that nearly all diners will order the swimming crab dish and the steamed swimming crabs are the most popular because they preserve the original flavor better. He can sell about 15 kilograms of swimming crabs per day.

The business area features boutique hotels, a shopping mall and entertainment facilities and will provide 290 parking lots after Aug 15.
