Zhoushan Putuoshan Airport in Zhoushan set a new record with a single-day passenger throughput of 10,307 on April 18.

With a total daily passenger throughput of 10,552, this personal best also marks the first time the airport has exceeded the 10,000 mark.

With the peak tourism season approaching in Zhoushan, the airport's aviation transportation has been operating at high levels since the beginning of April. As of April 18, there have been 1,194 takeoffs and landings, with a total passenger throughput of 156,100, representing an 11 percent and 19 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

In the future, the airport will deepen the systematic integration of market resources, making efforts to expand production and operation scale, improve quality, and elevate service standards to new heights.
