The activity called "Thailand-China 50 Years of Friendship: Cultural Stamp Journey on Mount Putuo, Zhoushan" kicked off on Mount Putuo in Zhoushan city, East China's Zhejiang province.
That's as 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand.
Prinat Apirat, consul general of the Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai, and Ding Weidong, director of the Mount Putuo-Zhujiajian Management Committee, highlighted the longstanding friendship between Mount Putuo and Thailand — looking forwards to more diverse exchanges in culture and tourism in the future.
After the opening ceremony, Prinat Apirat led the delegation to place commemorative postcards symbolizing the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations and three seals at the Thai-style Zizai Pavilion, Xinyuefang and the Xianggongfang.
The event attracted many Chinese and Thai tourists who participated in the blessing activities, aiming to deepen the friendship between China and Thailand.
