Zhang Weiping, a member of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, proposed accelerating the development of modern marine ranches to support high-quality marine economic growth and ensure food security, emphasizing the use of advanced technologies like AI, the internet of things, and big data to optimize resource use and increase production efficiency.
Several other proposals, including those on medical talent development, green marine equipment, and improvements in elderly care, were also prepared. In the past year, challenges raised at previous sessions have seen progress, including the strengthening of support for island forest ecological construction.
