The 3.5-day conference is an important venue where academics and battery and automotive industry experts showcase the latest research and development in advanced lithium batteries focused on automotive applications.

Starting in 2008, the ABAA conferences are committed to enhancing global R&D of advanced lithium batteries for vehicles, accelerating the discussion and communication of R&D progress, and strengthening global collaboration in this field.

At this year's event, more than 50 speeches will be delivered on development of novel materials such as cathodes, anodes, electrolytes and electrolyte additives, safety and degradation mechanisms of lithium ion batteries, and new developments in the chemistry of energy storage.
