Climate
Zhejiang has a sub-tropical monsoon climate, warm, humid and rainy. It has a mean annual temperature of 15-18 degrees centigrade, and a mean annual precipitation of 1,100 – 2,200 mm. January and July are the coolest and warmest months of the year. May and June are the periods of concentrated rainfall. Due to the ocean's influence, the temperature and humidity conditions are superior to the inland monsoon areas of the same latitude. Zhejiang is one of the regions with superior natural conditions in China.
