The event offers visitors the opportunity to experience a day in the life of local Hangzhou residents – taking them on a tour of West Lake on a pseudo-classical boat, brewing a cup of tea at the China National Tea Museum, and buying creative cultural products featuring cultural elements of Jiangnan, referring to regions south of the Yangtze River.
An online expo was launched simultaneously for overseas exhibitors who cannot attend in person due to COVID-19. It has attracted 3,100 companies and individuals from 41 countries and regions.
Some 20 high-end forums highlighting China's cultural and creative industry were held on the sidelines. Big names such as Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu and TikTok were on the list.
