Zhejiang legislators return home as NPC concludes annual session

The Zhejiang delegation to the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress returned to Zhejiang province on the night of March 11 following the successful conclusion of the last day of the session.

During the annual session, NPC deputies from Zhejiang fulfilled their duties in reviewing and passing the Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, the annual Government Work Report, and the work reports of the NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People's Court, and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

NPC deputies from Zhejiang submitted a total of 26 motions and 436 suggestions to the top legislature.

They shared a determination to help the province deliver excellent socioeconomic performance in 2021, which is the first year of the country's 14th Five-Year Plan period and marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
