Zhejiang spotlights former residences of famed scientists

The Zhejiang Association of Science and Technology recently released a list of six esteemed scientists' former residences or memorial halls in Zhejiang province, which will serve as the province's first education bases to celebrate scientists.

Zhejiang authorities expressed hope that young scientists and scholars visiting these places can seek inspiration from their predecessors to carry out scientific undertakings.

The sites are Qian Xuesen's former residence in Hangzhou, Zhu Kezhen's former residence in Shaoxing, the Zhu Kezhen Memorial Hall in Hangzhou, Su Buqing's former residence in Pingyang, Tu Youyou's former residence in Ningbo, the Tan Jiazhen Life Science Education Hall in Ningbo, and Yan Jici's former residence in Dongyang.
