The second China-Central & Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair, focusing on economic and trade cooperation between China and CEE countries, opened on the afternoon of June 8.

Top officials from China and CEEC governments such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Poland, Slovenia and Hungary delivered online and in-person speeches to celebrate the opening of the expo.

This year, Serbia and the Czech Republic are guests of honor, and Anhui province is the expo's host province.

Domestically, 27 provincial and municipal governments – including Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hainan – sent delegations to the expo.

The exhibition, with a total floor area of 200,000 square meters, features trade shows in three categories: the CEEC exhibition, the international consumer goods exhibition, and the permanent exhibition of imported commodities.

Additionally, the event has attracted more than 3,000 exhibitors and 7,000 professional buyers, arranged multiple online and offline business matchmaking activities, and displayed an array of products from local specialties and daily consumer goods to emerging industries such as intelligent equipment, biomedicine, electronic information, and general aviation.

With the tagline "Fostering a new development paradigm and sharing a win-win opportunity", the expo is focused on implementing a cooperation mechanism featuring extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits decided at the 2021 China-CEEC Summit.
