"All Affairs in One Window" offices opened in Gongshu, Qiantang, and Xiaoshan districts in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on June 18 to offer expats more convenient services, local media reported.

A Belgian native named Ruben was one of the beneficiaries after visiting the office in Gongshu district where he received his work and residence permits from the office.

Expats in the city do not need to wait for the work permit before applying for the residence permit. They can both apply for the permits at the same time and receive them at the office without going between different government departments.

Workers at the office can also answer expats' questions about the two permits.
