The annual lotus viewing season in the West Lake Cultural Landscape, Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province, has arrived. Here are some of the best places in the West Lake to visit.

Broken Bridge

The Broken Bridge is not only famous because of the white snake legend, but also because it boasts an idyllic view of blooming lotus in summer.

Hougu Mountain

The red lotus growing on Hougu Mountain is a species unique to West Lake. At dawn, the color of this lotus looks different from red lotus growing in the other places.

Santan Yinyue, or Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, scenic spot
