Exhibition in Zhejiang features industrial arts

The Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, located in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, launched the 5th Zhejiang Industrial Arts and Crafts Biennial Exhibition on Aug 20.

The exhibition's organizers are the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Zhejiang Folk Literature and Art Association.

On display are 222 artworks, which fall into 50 categories including wood carvings, stone carvings, bamboo carvings, embroidery, paper-cutting, porcelain, and lacquerware.

A substantial proportion of them are themed around the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China which took place this year.

This year's exhibition features a new zone with handmade creative culture products that can be purchased by visitors.

The exhibition will last until Aug 28.
