Zhejiang Jingcheng Mold Machinery Co Ltd recently won the China Quality Award of Nomination at the fourth China Quality Conference, which was held in Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province, on Sept 16.

Eighty organizations and nine individuals from across the nation won the award.

The CQA, which is conferred by the State Administration for Market Regulation every two years, is the highest honor in the field of quality management in China.

For the first time, the organizing committee set up a category for small and medium-sized enterprises.

A total of six SMEs from the country won the nomination award and Zhejiang Jingcheng Mold Machinery Co Ltd was the only one from Zhejiang.

Based in Taizhou's Huangyan district, the company has been devoted to the R&D, production, and sales of extrusion dies for more than 20 years.

In 2020, it produced more than 80 percent of China's high-end melt-blown fabric die heads and over 60 percent of the county's protective clothing fabric die heads.

The company has also been included in the third batch of "little giant" enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

"Little giants" refer to industry leaders recognized by the MIIT with excellent innovation capabilities, large market shares, core technologies, as well as high product quality and profitability.
