Organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a delegation consisting of 13 young Africans and five young Chinese people toured Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province from Oct 13-17 to get a better understanding of China's digital economy development and common prosperity drives.

The visit aimed to showcase how China is pursuing rural revitalization and common prosperity by boosting digital development to young people from Africa, thus further promoting China-Africa exchanges and cooperation in the digital economy sector.

During the visit, the delegation went to several sites featuring advanced digital development in Jiaxing where they were shown various applications of digital technologies in production, governance, as well as lifestyle.
