Words from the youth: Foreigners await Hangzhou 2022

Editor's Note: With the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 drawing nearer, people from all walks of life, especially the youth, are looking forward to the international sporting gala. Fodil Selmouni, French Canadian

Fodil Selmouni, a French Canadian who came to Hangzhou in 2016 and now teaches English at the Tourism College of Zhejiang, said he is excited to see athletes from all Asian countries compete in the amazing sporting venues in Hangzhou.

Qing Xiu, South Korea

Qing Xiu (Chinese name), a South Korean studying at the Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, recently fell in love with breakdance, a sport that has been included in the Asian Games for the first time. Qing Xiu said she enjoys her life in Hangzhou and is looking forward to the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.

Kim Ho-hyun, South Korea

Kim Ho-hyun is a South Korean postgraduate majoring in sports humanities sociology at Zhejiang University. He said he is interested in the Hangzhou Asian Games and would like to be a volunteer for the sporting event.

Ileana, Romania

Romanian woman Ileana has been living in Hangzhou since 2013. Ileana, who now runs a cultural consulting company in the city, has called on people from across the world to catch the action at the Asian Games.
