Ningbo resumes flights to Boracay, Nha Trang

Ningbo Lishe International Airport resumed flights to Boracay Island in the Philippines and Nha Trang in Vietnam on July 4, bringing the total number of international routes restored by the airport to 10.

The flights to Boracay Island, operated by Loong Airlines, are available three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The outbound flight, GJ8655, departs from Ningbo Lishe International Airport at 2:55 pm and arrives at Kalibo International Airport in Boracay at 6:30 pm. The return flight, GJ8656, departs from Kalibo International Airport at 7:30 pm and arrives in Ningbo at 10:45 pm.

Similarly, flights to Nha Trang will be operated by VietJet Air. There will be one flight scheduled every week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The outbound flight will depart from Ningbo at 6:40 pm and arrive in Nha Trang at 9:30 pm. The return flight will depart Nha Trang at 1:10 pm and arrive in Ningbo at 5:40 pm.

With the easing of COVID-19 pandemic control policies, Ningbo airport has now opened 10 international passenger routes. These routes have facilitated 1,260 inbound and outbound flights, transporting more than 170,000 passengers, up 223 percent and 1,100 percent year-on-year, respectively.

Looking ahead, the airport plans to introduce flights to Osaka and Fukuoka in the first half of this month to meet the rising travel demand during summer vacation.
