The Zhejiang University International School of Medicine in Yiwu welcomed 94 international students from 25 countries spanning Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa on Sept 12 and 13.

One student, Aqsa from Pakistan, expressed her excitement about studying in China, saying, "My father has visited China many times, and he has friends here who do business. So, China is a country I've long admired."

Aqsa and her family recently moved from Pakistan to Jinhua, Zhejiang, where her father, who received a doctorate from Tsinghua University, is teaching at an international school. Aqsa's father said, "This is my eldest daughter, and my younger daughter will join the school next year."
