The exhibition themed on the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held at the Nanhu Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province on June 5, local media reported.

The Red Boat Sails exhibition showcases how the CPC led the national people to victories in revolution, development, and reform.

With a total exhibition area of 5,600 square meters, the show displays 1,134 documents, 676 photos, 341 videos and audio recordings, 41 maps, 26 scenarios, eight paintings, and six sets of sculptures.

The CPC's first National Congress concluded in a red boat over Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing in 1921, and as this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding. As such, Jiaxing has organized various celebrations, including the exhibition, to commemorate the occasion.
