Xiangong Lake is the second-largest artificial lake in Zhejiang province after Jinshui Bund and Shitang Hydropower Station.

Covering 33,000 hectares and with a water area of 2,600 hectares, Xiangong Lake is also a provincial forest park. The park lies along the main stream of Oujiang River across the Lipu provincial highway (S328) and is just 30 kilometers from the Jinhua-Wenzhou railway. It is in the center of Wuyi Mountain, Yandang Mountain and Nanxi River. The forest park sits among trees and lakes, with waterfalls, historical heritages, and cultural immersion.

The comfortable environment, and the natural and cultural wonders will not disappoint visitors who come to seek a great experience. If visitors sail on the lake, they will feel like they are floating around in a heaven hidden in the clouds.

In the Chishi and Longmen areas, the lake expands to a great extent with islands scattered around. Near the lake there are wonderful scenes such as Nine Pools and Eighteen Bays, Summer Cave, Longlao Cave, Butterfly Cave and Niutou Mountain.

When the weather closes in dramatically, the area fills with a sense of mystery. When it's sunny, boats sail as if they are in a masterpiece by a famous painter. On rainy days, the mist restricts visibility, creating a beautiful misty view.
