A new campaign to promote cross-border e-commerce in Jinyun county, Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, is expected to achieve turnover of $40 million in the third quarter of 2020, according to Zhu Weiru, the head of the cross-border e-commerce park in Jinyun.

"Recently, we launched the '100-day campaign' for cross-border e-commerce, and we expect the turnover will reach $40 million in the third quarter," Zhu said.

As one of the core areas of cross-border e-commerce in Lishui, the e-commerce park has been operating for two years and has formed an "ecological chain" of cross-border e-commerce services, including a big data customs clearance service platform, a comprehensive foreign trade service platform, a cross-border intelligent logistics platform, and a cross-border e-commerce incubation platform.

The park also worked with several banks to build a financial service system to provide enterprises with financing, international settlement, foreign exchange and other services, greatly reducing the financing threshold and operating costs of enterprises.

From January to April this year, Jinyun cross-border e-commerce enterprises achieved cross-border e-commerce exports worth $40 million. Among them, the export volume of cross-border e-commerce parks reached $5 million, both growing against trend.
