Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province held an online promotion campaign for its biological medicine industry on May 28 to attract biomedicine enterprises to the area.

Lishui has multiple advantages in developing biomedicine, such as an excellent environment, abundant resources for Chinese herbal medicine, abundant resources in edible and medicinal fungi, and active supporting policies.

The online click volume of the promotion event exceeded 13,000 person-times in one hour, attracting more than 500 professionals from more than 200 biomedical and medical device enterprises across the country.

Lishui municipal government has attached great importance to the development of the biomedicine industry for a long time. The city has taken the industry as a strategic emerging industry and introduced a series of incentive supporting policies.
