Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, is famous for two intangible culture heritages – celadon and sword. The city partnered with Fengxian district government in Shanghai to launch a celadon and sword themed activity in Shanghai on Aug 2.

Longquan created an interactive experience area which contains a teahouse, coffee bar, accessories store and study room in Shanghai International Conference Center. People can intuitively experience the life aesthetics that combine to produce Longquan celadon.

"I went to Longquan last year and saw the local celadon in a museum," said a Shanghai citizen surnamed Wang. "However, this exhibition made me feel that Longquan celadon can be perfectly integrated into people's lives. I saw piggy banks, music boxes and Chinese traditional stationery made of celadon," Wang said she was surprised that celadon works could be so creative and practical.

Additionally, Longquan brought its sword etiquette culture to Shanghai. The traditional six swords which represent birth, growth, marriage, success, promotion and longevity were displayed at the experience area.

Many Shanghai locals ordered swords on-site due to their exquisite workmanship and auspicious meanings.
