Baiyun Mountain in Liandu district and Jiulong Mountain in Suichang county – both located in the region administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – recently stood out in an online vote for the top mountain parks in Zhejiang.

Located in the north of Liandu district, the Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park is widely considered to be one of nature's 'oxygen bars' – where people can enjoy pristine air and a getaway into calming nature, while escaping the hustle and bustle of urban areas.

The park covers an area of 26 square kilometers and the forest coverage rate exceeds 96 percent. With mountain tops hidden in the clouds, brooks murmuring and its falls roaring, the Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park is said to be a place where visitors can truly embrace nature.

The Jiulong Mountain Natural Reserve, meanwhile, is located in the southwest part of Suichang county. Its main peak is 1,724 meters above sea level, the fourth highest in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

The reserve is a paradise for wildlife, with 63 species of wildlife under special State protection – such as black muntjac and tragopan caboti – living in the area.
