Expo 2020 Dubai UAE, the world's highest level international exhibition, was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and will be held from Oct 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

The expo is expected to host more than 200 countries and international organizations and draw some 25 million visitors.

The China Pavilion, which has been named The Light of China, covers an area of 4,636 square meters and is the largest pavilion apart from Dubai Pavilion.

"The signing of the agreement reflects the cultural and brand values of Guyuelongshan and showcases our products' fine quality," said Xu Dongliang, general manager of Zhejiang Gu Yue Long Shan Shaoxing Wine Co Ltd. The company is the first in China's yellow rice wine industry to be listed.

Shaoxing yellow rice wine has a history of more than 2,500 years and is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks in China. The earliest text records of the spirit date back to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). Just like Bordeaux is the wine center of France, Shaoxing is widely regarded as the home of yellow rice wine in China. Yellow rice wine produced in the city is exported to more than 40 countries and regions.
