The Wanwei Mountain scenic area in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province is opening its cherry blossom forest to the public at a very reasonable price, local media outlets reported on March 17.

The forest, co-built by the city and a Japanese civic group, now has over 4,000 cherry blossom trees. It has become a must-go destination for tourists who come to Shaoxing in the spring.

Wang Yaowei, director of the scenic area, said that this weekend will be the best time to take photos and that an adult ticket is only 10 yuan ($1.54).

The scenic area will also offer hanfu, a traditional Chinese style of clothing, for rent.

Visitors must wear face masks, show their health codes, and have their body temperatures taken before entry.

However, Wang suggested that visitors use public transportation as the parking lots at the scenic area are limited.
