Zhejiang strengthens cooperation with Sweden
A Swedish delegation, led by the country's Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, visited East China's Zhejiang province on June 28.
Che Jun, Party secretary of Zhejiang, met with Lofven in the morning for discussions on economic development. Che said Zhejiang has advantages in private and export-oriented economic sectors and will promote exchanges and cooperation with Sweden.
Zhejiang is working hard on industrial transformation and upgrading, Che said.
"In the new round of development, we'd like to learn from Sweden's experience in scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation," he said, adding that the bilateral relationship will be deepened in further talks and visits.
Lofven expressed his gratitude for Zhejiang's warm reception. He said Sweden and China are in a long-standing friendly partnership. His country will boost cooperation in automobile manufacturing, medicine and environmental protection to create more benefits for both Swedish and Chinese people.
