Huzhou Central Hospital
Huzhou Central Hospital, founded in 1944, is a comprehensive hospital integrating medical services, training, research, emergency rescue, disease prevention, rehabilitation and health preservation functions.
The hospital consists of 45 clinical and technology departments, and has a total of 1,200 beds. It provides medical service for about 3 million people from Huzhou and neighboring cities, as well as education tasks for more than 20 universities and colleges, such as Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Medical College of Soochow University and Wenzhou Medical University. The hospital has nearly 2,000 employees.
Hepatic-biliary-pancreatic surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, digestive medicine, hematology, respiratory medicine, cardiology, intensive medicine, molecular diagnosis are key provincial and municipal projects' disciplines in the hospital, as well as a municipal medical molecular laboratory.
