Biennial convention for world Zhejiang entrepreneurs set for November

The 5th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention, a biennial grand event for Zhejiang province's business sector, is slated to be held in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, on Nov 13, said organizers on Aug 13.
Focusing on high-quality development and the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region, the two-day conference will see over 2,000 Zhejiang business people from around the globe have exchanges in more than 10 featured activities.
Representatives from Fortune Global 500, international organizations and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as high-caliber professionals from home and abroad, will also attend the conference.
A highlight of this year's convention will see the presence of emerging Zhejiang business people, including returned entrepreneurs, entrepreneur alumni of well-known universities and representatives of scientific research institutions.
A number of leading enterprises and privately-owned multinational enterprises in Zhejiang will be awarded and a group of projects will be inked during the conference.
Organized by Zhejiang provincial government, the World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention is the largest and the most influential event for Zhejiang businessmen in the province. The first edition opened in 2011 and it has been held every two years thereafter.
