Zhoushan, Ningbo, Taizhou jointly promote seaborne dispute conciliation
Zhoushan, Ningbo and Taizhou, three cities in East China's Zhejiang province, recently issued a document together to boost the collaborative conciliation of seaborne disputes.
This document, which focuses on the conciliation of cross-regional fishery disputes, marked the promotion of the three cities' abilities to conciliate disputes, said local authorities.
The document calls on the three cities to boost collaboration in a number of areas by stepping up communication, mutual visit and experience exchange between their respective dispute conciliation departments.
According to the document, in the event of a dispute, local dispute conciliation departments shall familiarize themselves with all the relevant details of the dispute and promptly contact the dispute departments of all involved cities.
Conciliation of seaborne disputes should be conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and laws such as the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Traffic Safety in Fishing Port Waters, said experts.
