Zhejiang briefs foreign consuls in Shanghai on its development

Zhejiang province held a meeting in Shanghai on Jan 6 to seek cooperation and brief foreign consuls on its economic and social development over the past year.
More than 200 officials from the consulates of 62 countries in Shanghai attended the meeting.
According to Zhejiang authorities, the province saw significant improvement in the quality of life of its residents thanks to its efforts to drive urban construction and strengthen reform.
In the year ahead, the province plans to continue to promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta region and the digitalization of government. It will also increase cooperation with foreign consulates in Shanghai in areas such as trade, culture and visa processing.
Several cities in the province such as Jinhua and Huzhou were also promoted at the meeting.
