Zhejiang province launched a one-month online job recruitment campaign on March 3 to boost local employment.
The campaign was led by the talent office of the CPC Zhejiang Committee and the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Zhejiang. A series of job fairs will be carried out throughout the province during March.
Many places have suspended job recruitment activities due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, which severely harmed both companies and individuals.
As the situation improves thanks to strong epidemic control measures, the province is now beginning to make various efforts to help companies attract talent and resume operations.
An upcoming online job fair will present more than 50,000 jobs offered by over one thousand major provincial units, including universities and research institutes such as Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Lab, state-owned enterprises such as WZ Group, Zhejiang Communications Investment Group, and Zhejiang Energy Group, and well-known private companies such as Alibaba and Geely Auto.
The jobs involve a wide range of fields, including digital economy, artificial intelligence, bio-pharmaceuticals, energy conservation, and environmental protection.
A cloud-based recruitment platform will also be used for the first time in the province to provide "no-contact" services for companies and job applicants relating to posting jobs, submitting resumes, carrying out online interviews, and signing contracts electronically.
