Zhoushan and Ningbo, Zhejiang province recently held an online job fair to attract talent.

The fair was attended by around 1,000 job applicants from home and abroad, major oil, gas, and marine enterprises, as well as universities and research institutes in the two cities. Some jobs offered salaries of more than 300,000 yuan ($42,417) per year.

Zhoushan and Ningbo are adjacent to each other and share a strong cultural and economic relationship.

Local authorities have long been cooperating in industrial innovation, talent attraction and tech development.

The two cities jointly released an action plan to attract talent from 2020 to 2025 as well as carried out a series of key tasks in 2020.

They will cooperate on 15 projects this year, including building studios for professors and high-end industrial parks.
