Zhejiang awarded by State Council for implementing national strategies
The State Council of China recently rewarded 213 Chinese provinces, cities and counties that have made remarkable progress over the past year in implementing key national strategies, such as rural revitalization, business climate improvement and innovation-driven development.
Zhejiang province was rewarded for five achievements including having a sound financial environment, stable foreign trade, a large transportation input and prosperous high-tech industries.
Cities in the province, such as Hangzhou, Ningbo, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou and Taizhou, received a total of 15 awards for their various accomplishments.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the State Council has granted these awards. The awards come in several forms, including funding, land, projects and pilot reforms.
