All merchandises about Bing Dwen Dwen, mascot for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, have been sold out ever since the Games began on Feb 4 and children in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, have even tried making the mascot themselves, local media reported on Feb 9.

Guided by Shen Chongrong, an inheritor of egg painting, Jiaxing's intangible cultural heritage item, some Jiaxing teenagers painted Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon, mascots of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games, on goose eggs.

Some of them also made clay and dough figurine versions of Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon to wish the Olympic athletes good luck.

Bing Dwen Dwen is a panda wearing an icy coat resembling sugar-coated haws, a popular local snack, while Paralympics mascot Shuey Rhon Rhon resembles a red lantern, symbolizing warmth, friendship and the resilience of disabled athletes.
