Jinyuan village is located in northeast Changshan county, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province. It is a national traditional village that has been designated a provincial-level calligraphy village and provincial-level 3A scenic spot.

The village boasts a history of nearly a thousand years and a rich culture. Most Jinyuan residents are surnamed Wang, and some families have lived in the village since the Song Dynasty (960-1679).

The Wang family was a distinguished household in Jinyuan, and during the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), many talented people from the family served in the imperial court.

The village currently boasts 26 buildings from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasties (1644-1911). The most famous structures are the Xianliang Ancestral Hall and Shimei Memorial Gate, which are listed as cultural relic protection units in Zhejiang province.

The Xianliang Ancestral Hall was built more than 1,000 years ago, covering an area of 1,200 square meters, and featuring intricate carvings.

Built over 800 years ago, the Shimei Memorial Gate bears inscriptions of the Wang family's famous imperial officials and reconstruction dates.
