National Land Day activity held in Hangzhou
Authorities in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province held an event on June 25 to commemorate the 32nd National Land Day.
National Land Day, which falls on June 25 every year in China, urges people to use land efficiently. China is the first country in the world to have a special day for land protection.
During the event, organizers unveiled the winning works of the IP image design of Daoxiang town. A college student from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University also introduced her design ideas and her understanding of the importance of National Land Day and the protection of cultivated land.
Many neighboring areas in Hangzhou also launched various activities to raise public awareness of the importance of protecting cultivated land and food security.
