According to an official press release, the Zhejiang University research group cooperated with the research group of Tsinghua University to use a digital quantum simulation method to demonstrate a new material-topological time crystal. The project has since solved a major scientific problem and the result was recently published in the paper "Digital quantum simulation of Floquet symmetry-protected topological phases" in the science journal Nature.

According to the research team, this method boasts higher programming flexibility and higher quantum gate precision.

In addition, the research team of Zhejiang University developed the first user-oriented superconducting quantum computing cloud platform "Taiyuan-1" (aslo know as JanusQ Cloud), which uses a visual programming environment to lower the threshold for the use of quantum computers. The platform, which can also be used to access the Tianmu–1 chip remotely, will be used to promote the application of quantum computers in many industries.
