New era in China: Ukrainian makes Hangzhou her home
Anastasia Krasnoschok from Ukraine has been living in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, for over 10 years and now enjoys her life there with her family.
In 2009, Krasnoschok came to the Chinese city to obtain her bachelor degree in tourist management. Her parents encouraged her to learn Chinese since she was just seven years old.
Although not many of her peers in Ukraine learned Chinese at that time, her parents put in a lot of efforts for her to learn Chinese "because they saw the great potential of the country."
Familiar with Chinese culture and language, Krasnoschok adjusted to her new life quickly and found her "Mr Right" in Hangzhou.
Now, she is an employee at a Zhejiang-based medical device company and living in Hangzhou with her family. "It is a very good city to go on living," she said.
