The 7th Shaoxing Shangyu Cao'e River Half Marathon will take place on March 26 at the Shangyu Sports Center.

This year's race has attracted 12,085 runners, of which 8,042 will be participating in the half marathon.

The runners will include scholars and researchers from universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Hokkaido University in Japan, and Michigan State University in the United States.

This year's course has been redesigned, with the starting and finishing points both set at the Shangyu Sports Center.

The course will take runners to the picturesque east bank of the Cao'e River, Shangyu's downtown area and the E-Youth Town on the west bank of the river.
