The Youth Talent Development Conference was recently held in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, aiming to attracting global talent to the city.

During the conference, Quzhou announced that it will offer more than 16,000 job vacancies for talent.

The positions are at various departments of the Quzhou government, listed companies, above-designated-size companies, high-tech companies, universities, hospitals and research institutes, covering six major industrial chains in Quzhou: new materials, new energy, integrated circuits, intelligent equipment, life and health and special paper.

The salary package for these positions is quite attractive. Doctoral candidates generally earn more than 350,000 yuan ($48,290) per year. Some scientific research positions have an annual salary of nearly 1 million yuan and additional incentives such as stock options and scientific research achievement bonuses.

Quzhou’s talent recruitment policies are continuing to get better and more comprehensive.

Over 70 percent of the city's preferential talent policies can be applied for and enjoyed through a digital platform without the need for an application. There are also corresponding policy supports for college students coming to Quzhou, whether for housing, entrepreneurship and innovation, or personal growth.
